JET another presentation, why oh why?

Oracle Database 19c supports fully consistent JSON data with ACID transaction guarantees and consistent queries. This greatly simplifies application development compared to NoSQL stores. Native JSON support makes up a cornerstone for flexible schema support and Internet of Things (IoT) workloads, enabling developers to simply load JSON documents into the database natively and analyze them later on, with the full power of Oracle SQL. This hands-on workshop shows how easy it is to work with JSON documents stored inside your Oracle Database.

Oracle JET is made with JavaScript, it’s not low-code and it looks complicated to use in APEX.

Why is it important to know more about JET? What does it add to APEX that we need it so desperately?

I will point out the importance of JET in APEX and show how you can spice up your app using JET.

Description:

Many presentations about Oracle APEX also mention Oracle JET. Oracle JET is made with JavaScript, it’s not low-code and it looks complicated to use in APEX. And it has it’s own community and release life cycle.

So why on earth is it important to know more about Oracle JET than you know right now? And what does it add to APEX that we need it so desperately?

In this presentation I will point out the importance of Oracle JET in APEX and show you how you can spice up your APEX application using Oracle JET.

This presentation points out the need to know something about Oracle JET from an APEX point of view. Via different ways the audience is told how JET is involved in a specific APEX area (chart, items etcetera)

It is a very nice presentation with useful examples. It also extends Hillary’s presentation on extending your APEX application with Oracle JET.
