Christian Gohmann is currently working as Principal Consultant and Instructor at Trivadis Germany GmbH in Dusseldorf, Germany. Christopher Jones is a Senior Principal Product Manager working with the Oracle Database Data Access team primarily on APIs for scripting languages including Node.js, Python, PHP and the ODPI-C library for Oracle Database driver writers. Connor McDonald is a Database Advocate for Oracle Corporation. Ever being frustrated as a child with the limits imposed by the single kilobyte of RAM in his Sinclair ZX80 computer, he has loved the challenges that come with storing data, which ultimately led to a career in database technology. When the infamous Y2K data issue did not end the world as people thought, he started presenting on his database passions, found that he loved doing it, and has spoken at over 120 conferences around the world since then. Due to his partners predilection for rescuing stray cats, he doesn’t just speak the phrase “as hard as herding cats”, he lives it every day.

Dani Schnider

Dani works as Senior Principal Consultant, trainer and Data Warehouse Lead Architect for Trivadis, a database consulting company in Zurich/Switzerland. Since 1994 he has been working with Oracle databases (version 6 to 19c), since 1997 mainly in Data Warehouse projects. Philipp Salvisberg is a senior principal consultant, partner and member of the boards of directors at Trivadis and an Oracle ACE. He has been focusing on Oracle database based solutions since 1988. Rustam D. Khodjaev  is a Founder and President of the TAJOUG (Tajikistan Oracle User Group) and CASOUG (Cetral Asia Oracle User Group). Rustam has been working with Oracle technologies since 2005, particularly with Oracle Database and Engineering Systems. He has PhD in Computer Science and gives lectures at the two majors technical universities in Tajikistan since 2007 – Tajik Technical University and Branch of Branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University in Dushanbe. His courses at the Universities are: Database, Operating Systems and System Administration. He launched and implemented Oracle Academy in these two universities of Tajikistan. It was first practical implementations of Oracle Academy Education Program in Central Asia. He uses in his lectures and labs materials and tolls from Oracle Academy Program, such as Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, SQL Developer, SQL Developer Data Modeler, APEX and presentations.

Wei Hu is the Senior Vice President of Development for High Availability and Emerging Technologies at Oracle. He leads the development of mission critical database capabilities including Maximum Availability Architecture, Active Data Guard, Sharding, Recovery, RAC Cache Fusion, and Advanced Queuing. Mr. Hu also leads the development of technologies related to Blockchain, Microservices, and Globally Distributed Databases.

Mr. Hu has B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has been with Oracle since 1998, holds more than 30 patents, and is the author and co-author of several books and papers.

I am proud to have attained both Oracle Certified Master (OCM) 11g and Oracle Ace.
