Since 1995, Christian Antognini has focused on understanding how the Oracle database engine works. His main interests include logical and physical database design, the integration of databases with Java applications, the query optimizer and basically everything else related to application performance management. He is currently working as a senior principal consultant and trainer at Trivadis in Zürich, Switzerland.
If Christian is not helping one of his customers get the most out of Oracle, he is somewhere lecturing on application performance management or new Oracle Database features for developers. In addition to classes and seminars organized by Trivadis, he regularly presents at conferences and user-group meetings. He is a proud member of the OakTable Network and an Oracle ACE Director. Christian is the author of Troubleshooting Oracle Performance (Apress, 2008/2014) and the co-author of Der Oracle DBA (Hanser, 2011).
Mike Dietrich has over twenty years experience in the information technology industry. Mr. Dietrich has spent the last seventeen years at Oracle Corporation where he has held senior and management roles in both the sales and support organizations. Currently, he is a Senior Principal Technologist in the Database Upgrade Development Group.
He is responsible for evangelizing, influencing and demonstrating Oracle technology solutions related to database upgrades, migrations and consolidation to Oracle customers and partners. Besides that he works consistently with customers in key reference projects, both onsite and remotely.

Mark Rittman is an Oracle ACE Director, co-founder and CTO of Rittman Mead, and author of two Oracle Press books on Oracle BI and engineered systems. Mark has worked with BI, data warehousing and more recently big data systems since 1997, is a regular contributor to Oracle Magazine and the Rittman Mead Blog, and speaks at user group and Oracle events around the world.
Frits Hoogland is an IT professional specializing in Oracle database performance and internals. Frits frequently presents on Oracle technical topics at conferences around the world. In 2009 he received an Oracle ACE award from the Oracle Technology Network and a year later became an Oracle ACE Director. In 2010 he joined the OakTable Network. In addition to developing his Oracle expertise, Frits works with PostgreSQL, and modern operating systems. Frits currently works at the Accenture Enkitec group.
Julian Dontcheff leads the Accenture Enkitec Group and the Oracle Technology Group for Accenture’s EALA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America). In this role, he is responsible for the Oracle Technology business, including Engineered Systems, encompassing sales, delivery, client satisfaction and profit/loss. Julian is also responsible for the complete Oracle portfolio in Finland, as Oracle Practice Lead for that country. Julian has more than 25 years of database experience. He was the first Oracle Certified Master in Europe, is currently an Oracle Certified Professional 8i-12c, and is an Oracle ACE Director. He has responsibility for 100+ clients worldwide.
